When life gets overwhelming and our coping skills can't keep up, it can help to turn to a wise third party for support. However, it can be very difficult to find help that fits your budget and a counselor who shares your values.

Restore & Rebuild Counseling Center offers Christian counseling, sliding scale fees, and, as available, scholarship funds to help subsidize the cost of therapy. We don't want finances to keep people from getting the help they need.

At Restore & Rebuild, we see counseling as part of ministry. We count it a privilege to assist people in their journey toward health and healing. Restore & Rebuild serves the local community in North San Diego County at our office in Encinitas. We also offer online sessions through a secure video platform.

One of the biggest changes we've seen in over 30 years of working with youth and parents is that today's families are dramatically busier than families were in the past.

These days, parents and teens are under intense time pressures. We want to be good parents, but in the middle of the stress, it's easy to get reactive and hard to be proactive.

Through Restore & Rebuild, our team supports busy parents to help them navigate the challenges of raising healthy kids in today's culture. We provide accessible, relevant articles in the form of blog posts. On our Resources page, we present an extensive list of books, websites, and other resources that we recommend. We want to help families thrive!

People who help others as a profession -- such as pastors, teachers, or therapists -- are at risk of compassion fatigue, boundary issues, and burnout.

All of us on the Restore & Rebuild team have experienced firsthand the ups and downs of life in ministry. We know that even the best helpers just cannot do it alone. If we aren't careful, giving to others can take a heavy toll on our own marriages, our children, and even our personal health.

Because we have walked this road personally, we have a passion for helping others navigate this path successfully. Part of our goal at Restore & Rebuild is to help ministry leaders, their spouses, and their children. We provide resources to encourage, educate, and support those in ministry. Ministry leaders and their family members find an open door, a listening ear, and help they can afford at our counseling center.
